Covid-19 Closure through April 24th

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

The ongoing impact of COVID-19 in our region requires school districts to be flexible and make decisions that are in the best interest of public health.  In consultation with area Health Departments; School Superintendents have made a joint decision to extend the “Wellness Break” and closure of our all our respective Districts will be extended through April 24, 2020.

Westview understands that this is an uncertain time for our students, families, and communities, but we remain focused on protecting the safety and well-being of students, staff, and families.

The extended closure impacts all activities, events, and before or after school programs.  All buildings remain closed to the public and nonessential personnel.

Westview School District will continue to provide meal options for children under the age of 18. If you have not done so, and would like to be added to the meal list, please log into this link https://forms.gle/fsfuBs1JtNKi  or the link that is listed on our Facebook page or school website. You only have to fill the form out 1 time.  If you want to be added, you must sign up by 2 pm to begin receiving the meals the next day.

We will be continuing the work packets through the closure.  We will be picking up this week’s pack on Monday beginning at 11 am and dropping off the following weeks work.  Please make sure your child’s work is at the pick up by 11am for them to receive credit.  We are taking grades and attendance from this work. It is imperative that your child completes this to stay on the track for the year.

Please monitor our website, Facebook, or Westview App accounts for updates, information, and resources.

We have enjoyed getting emails, phone calls, picture messages, signs on doors, and text messages of you all throughout this week.  Keep them coming!  We miss you all!
