The Westview Middle School Band held their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 2nd. Under the direction of Miss Patti DeArmond, the 5 8th grade band members each performed a solo and multiple other arrangements as a group. Joanna and Matthew have been in band for 4 years. Jayden and Luna have been in band for 3 years, and Aubrey joined the band this year. Joanna, Jayden and Luna also participated in the MSSU Middle School Honor Band earlier in the year. 6th grader Tyler Wills is also in band but was unable to attend the concert.
All 5 8th graders plan on continuing their musical journey in high school. Congratulations Joanna, Jayden, Matthew, Luna and Aubrey. We'll miss you next year!
