Mr. Enslow's STEAM Students Placed in the Top 3 in the Model Bridge Contest Sponsored by the Southwest Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
Students were challenged with the task of building model bridges to very specific dimensions and rules and able to withstand weight. The judges weighed, tested, and calculated the efficiency ratio for each bridge, and our Westview students took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Chase Bryant won 1st Place, Keegan McGinnis took 2nd, and Matthew Shaffer took 3rd. It was even stated that if Bryant's bridge could have been entered into the High School Division, he would of placed 2nd in that category as well.
We want to congratulate Mr. Enslow and all of his hard-working students for their determination, effort, and patience in this challenging task and contest event. We are very proud of each of you!
