We had our annual Career Fair on Friday, April 25th. Once again, we had some great speakers! The students got to hear from a farmer, Dillon Johnson, a banker and former MLB player, Matt Carnes, a pastor, Tim Osborn, an optometrist, Dr. Brett Freeman (son of former Westview teacher Shellie Freeman), a primary care physician, Dr. Micheal Durham, trainer/body builder, Jowa Zamarripa, radio personalities Jen Fox from Randy & Jen in the morning on KIX 102.5 and M Dub from KSYN 92.5, the crew from Planet Reptile in Galena, KS, musicians Dalyn Frost & Austin Lucky of Zimmeroo, Kevin Black, Master Falconer and his crew, and the Air Evac crew from Grove, OK Mike, Kallise & Farah.
Reminder: There is no EAGLE afterschool program this week. Please call and let us know how your child will be sent home. If you do not call, then they will be sent home per instructions prior to the EAGLE program starting last fall.

The school district has lost power again. If it does not come on before lunch, we will have to dismiss again due to no water or bathroom usage. Please check for updates. If the power isn't restored by 11:30 we will dismiss then.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Families eligible by household income or directly certified to receive free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program, are eligible for a Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT). This summer benefit provides the student a $120 grocery benefit to purchase nutritious food over the summer months. If your student currently received free or reduced-price meals this school year, his/her information has been submitted to receive the benefit. Families who were not eligible for free or reduced-price meals during the 2024-25 school year, may use the Missouri SuN Bucks Eligibility Navigator at https://mydss.mo.gov/sunbucks-eligibility to see if they are eligible for an application.

The Westview district will hold a public hearing AND a parent committee meeting for EASIE Title VI Grant on Thursday, April 10th at 4:00 and 4:30p.m. in the school cafeteria.
The annual Spring Title II.A, Title II.A, and Title IV.A meeting will be on April 7th at 1:30p.m. in the Middle School Steam Room. Parents, community partners, and staff are encouraged to attend.

This is the design that will be on the shirts being offered by the Parent Group. Order forms will be coming home today, 1/24. Orders and money will be due by February 5th. Please pay in cash-exact change- if at all possible. If you have to pay by check, please make it payable to J & J Embroidery. Send order form and payment in an envelope with your child's name on it.
