We have determined it is best to join with many other schools in the region & across the state to extend our closure to April 3, 2020 in hopes to stop the spread of COVID-19.
We will be updating information in the next few days.

Good evening, after much thought & discussion it has been decided that Westview will be extending spring break through March 22nd due to the concerns around COVID-19. During this next week we will monitor the situation to plan for the future. Below is a chart to assist you about various symptoms.


Basketball in music?! Mrs. DeArmond's music class learned about beats & rhythm through this creative lesson that brought the rhythm of music to life this week!



We've had some very special visitors for Read Across America Week! A big THANKS to all our Board Members who have been reading to our elementary students this week! We will end the week by wearing the "Bare Necessities," OUR PJ's, to school tomorrow!

Congratulations! Mr. Jim is our Staff of the Week! His students say they are thankful for him, and he's always nice and funny. We are grateful for Mr. Jim as he works so hard and has the best attitude. Thanks for safely getting our students to and from school each day!


Mrs. Freeman is our Staff of the Week! Congratulations to the BEST 2nd grade teacher, who the students say is the kindest and nicest teacher ever! They also said she is very helpful to every student. We love Mrs. Freeman, & want to thank her for all that she does each and every day!


Valentine's Day Parties are tomorrow at 2pm. Elementary students can bring treats and cards, and middle schoolers can bring $2 to help with snacks.

We have had 4 snow days so far this year. We have made 1 up already. The next 3 days that school WILL BE IN SESSION are April 24th, May 6th, 7th, & 8th. The last day of school will now be May 8th at 12:30 PM. *

What better way to learn about 'Force of Motion' than to participate in a GREAT LAUNDRY BASKET RACE! This week kindergarteners had a blast testing their hypothesis, and learning about push and pulls.
