Westview Student Council is having a fundraiser that starts next Tuesday, April 2nd and runs through April 18th. The proceeds go to Moving Mountains, the organization that provides food for our snack pack program. As a way to get everyone involved, staff members have agreed to some "dares." Each dare has a dollar value, so when that amount of money is raised, that staff member will have to perform that dare in front of the student body. Our goal is to raise at least $300 . Thank you from Westview Student Council!

A message from Coach Douglas: The Westview Eagles Archery Team finished their trip to the state tournament. The bullseye team competed on Saturday and did an awesome job! First, I need to explain something about this bullseye team. The ages are 4th to 8th grade. Normally, the elementary would have a team of their own, but we are too small so we compete together. As a team we shot 2957. We had half the team shoot above 260s and a 7th grader shoot a 279. Then we had some others shoot 238 and up for the team. So with that said, we had to score 2 more girls. One of the two young girls was a 4th grader and she shot a Personal Best with a 215. The other, a 5th grader, shot her average. We had one other spot to fill and another 4th grader stepped up and shot a 234. So with all of this, we still shot our highest bullseye total of the year. We didn't reach our goal, but we scored four first year shooters. I'm so proud of this group. They have worked their eagle tail feathers off. I will miss the 8th graders next year. Great job and good luck!
