KINDERGARTEN SCREENINGS!!! Student must be 5 years of age by Aug. 1, 2023 What you need for enrollment: proof of residence, birth certificate, immunization record, completed enrollment packet (enrollment packets are available at the school office) -Screenings will be scheduled when enrollment is completed. - Screening dates: Wednesday May 10th, Thursday May 11th, Friday May 12th, Tuesday May 16th, and Wednesday May 17th.

School Bookkeeper. Full-time, year round position. Must have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and at least 2 years experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and human resources or associate's degree in accounting. Position involves a wide variety of duties. Must be detail-oriented, computer-literate, and able to pass a background check. Send resumes to SDayton@wc6.org or MHailey@wc6.org.

This is a completely student generated book, and the yearbook class worked very hard to create something special this year.
Yearbook update: If you would still like to purchase a yearbook using the online ordering, you can do so at http://www.yearbookforever.com/. You will just put in Westview and our school will pop up. You can also send your order to the office with Yearbook Order, your child's name, and the grade(s) on the envelope. Yearbooks are $15. Supplies are limited, so get your orders in soon!

Your district is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used as part of the school improvement review during the 2022-2023 academic year.
Please take a few minutes to answer the survey at the link provided. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will become part of a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.
If you have more than one child in school, you will receive more than one survey link. Please complete a survey for each individual child. Do not complete one survey for multiple children.

We had a great time today! Thank you everyone for coming. Mr. Danny Knight (Mrs. Knight's husband) was the $50 chili winner! He donated his winnings back to the staff and kids of Westview. (Thank you, Mr. Knight). Mr. Pat and his wife also came for a visit.

WESTVIEW IS APPLYING FOR A DAYCARE LICENSE. PRE-K WILL BE PART OF THE DAYCARE WITH LIMITED OPENINGS AVAILABLE AT A COST. OPENINGS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. IF INTERESTED PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO GET ON THE LIST. 417-776-2425.

PUBLIC INTEREST WANTED- INPUT NEEDED
If Westview would offer daycare from birth to school age would there be interest? This would be for ANY child, not just students in the Westview District. This would be a year-round daycare with a focus on social and academic readiness. If we have enough interest we will be looking into grants and programming.
