Reminder to wear BLUE tomorrow! October is Bully Prevention month, and Mrs. Carpenter is starting the month off with a Kindness Week. Each classroom will be given unique challenges to spread kindness all week long. It's going to be a great week!

Westview is extremely thankful for Mr. Pat & Mr. Steven!! Our Middle School students decorated the gym doors in appreciation and several classes created cards and banners.
We want to THANK these men for the hard work they put in every day to make our school look it's best!

4-8th Grade Parents:
Our learning is in full swing, and this is a friendly reminder of our missing work policy. If a student has 5 or missing assignments at grade check, they will be issued a Saturday School Detention. Grade checks will be every other Thursday morning. If your student has excessive missing work, you will receive a generated call from the office and your child's teacher, so you can ask questions. Your student will also bring home a red note detailing the time and requirements, attached to a list of their missing assignments. We are thankful that we have such supportive parents who ensure their student(s) are staying on track and completing work on time. As always, feel free to call the office with any questions or concerns. Thank you!

AFTERSCHOOL EAGLE PROGRAM AND SATURDAY FUN DAYS WILL BE STARTING SEPTEMBER 7th! If your child is interested in attending EAGLE please complete the link below. Once the office recieves your response we will begin sending forms home. The forms sent home must be entirely completed to enroll your child in the program. There is limited spaces so students will be enrolled on a 1st come bases. If you have any questions, please call the office at 417-776-2425.

If your child is a car rider, parents will need to pick students up on the west side of the building. (Finch Road) Students will be dismissed starting with cars that begin lining up behind the buses and are lined up on Finch Road towards HWY 60. After all cars on that side have gone through the line then cars from the other direction (Westview Road to Finch) will begin. After all car riders are picked up walkers will be released. Please see the attached map for traffic flow.

Complete online registration so your child can attend the 1st day. Mrs. Pam is available in the office to assist.
Technology Fee is $10 this year due to the sponsorship of every student by New Salem Church!
COVID-19 protocol will be the same as last year. (Can be found on our website)
Students must wear a mask/faceshield upon entering or exiting the building/hallways/buses or when social distancing is not possible.
Sneeze guards have been purchased and will be used in the classes.
Staff will wear facemasks/shields if they are not 100% vaccinated.
Students will only be able to ride the bus with a mask or face shield who live over 1 mile from the school.
Students will not be allowed to ride a different bus if it is not their normal routine.
Bus pickup/drop off times will be given out at open house.
